Our Approach to Learning
Curriculum
Our curriculum is aligned with national standards in Belize while integrating innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and understanding.
Students are guided to:
- Develop strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Think independently and solve problems creatively
- Build confidence in communication and collaboration
We utilize Abeka’s Christian School curriculum as the spine for our classrooms. Our spiral approach building from the simple to the complex, with frequent review and varied application within each grade and from grade to grade is designed to prevent learning gaps. The three major learning styles (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic, or hearing, seeing, and doing) are incorporated in every lesson and every classroom setting. Confidence and critical thinking skills are developed through cross-subject integration—pulling in concepts from one subject into several others to reinforce understanding and tie learning together so that students engage their curiosity and learn to see the “big picture.”

Our classrooms are designed to be supportive, engaging, and inclusive—where each child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Daily Schedule
- Student Drop-off: 7:30 – 7:55 AM (Teachers are on duty to receive students at this time)
- Assembly Time: 8:00 AM sharp
- Instruction Start Time: 8:30 AM sharp
Student Pick-up:
- PreK-K: 11:30 AM sharp
- Infant 1-2: 1:30 PM sharp
- Standard I-VI: 3:00 PM sharp
- PreK-K
- Supervised lunch program 11:30 - 12:30 p.m
- Afterschool program for PreK - Infant 2
- Supervised study hours with tutoring available for an additional fee, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
- Afterhours PreK and up. 3:30-5:30 p.m
Please be reminded of the following lunch time procedures:
- Students participating in supervised lunch or who are in standard I to Standard VI must bring a packed lunch, snack and juice.
- No outside food deliveries or drop offs are allowed.
- Kindly label break time snack differently from lunch so as to not confuse children
- Snacks and lunches must be labeled with the child's name and class.
- Please ensure your child has a water bottle before leaving home daily.
- Students are not allowed to leave the gate to pick up food.
- No Soft drinks or energy drinks are allowed. We encourage students to bring fresh juice or juices with less added sugar.
